DAILY MUSINGS
my life in prosePathetic Slush
Don’t forget to leave space for life.
Walking to work today was like walking through a slushy machine that went haywire and exploded all around.
Amidst the deep puddles of water were piles of a yellowy, snow-like substance.
Avoiding plows became the necessary recourse if one intended to stay dry.
My life has become a pathetic fallacy. For the time being at least.
I spend the days just trying to make it through dry.
Most days I succeed, but every so often I step in a puddle and get my socks wet.
I wish there was an umbrella for life.

Today is the 6th of January, the first day of winter camp, and I love it!
The hum of and sigh of buses will soon fill the air.
Kids screaming and snowballs hitting our single pane window.
It begins.
and with it late nights of Vision editing, testimony sorting and hopefully, some shoveling.

It has been months since my last post. Not from lack of content, but rather from lack of uplifting, beneficial content.
DECEMBER
NONE
I haven’t been a good blogger this year. I do not pretend to think that the world cares what I am doing. Nor have I felt a need to document much.
The Notable things of the year:
- I learned to Rappel
- I shot a gun
- I now have a full size bed!
- I turned a quarter of a century
- I spent 4 weeks on the East Coast!
- I started watching Doctor Who
- I watched all of Northern Exposure
- I started making myself run
- I finally read The Chronicles of Narnia series
- I finally finished all Jane Austen
- We started Thursday dinners
and life goes on…
My apologies
Dear Snow,
Thank you for your beauty. We appreciate your contribution to the ecosystem, the camp, and life as a whole. Unfortunately, we need to reschedule our appointment. Due to some conflicting errors in our system, we ask to postpone our arrangement until tomorrow, Monday the 20th at which point we’ll be better equipped to handle your complaints from afar.
Yours Sincerely,
Tuch
Insomnia induced Blogging
It has been months since my last post. Not from lack of content, but rather from lack of uplifting, beneficial content.
The bad hasn’t been that bad… all posts would be unnecessary complaining.
The good hasn’t been that different…all posts would be boring (not that this one isn’t).
That said, this will probably come across like complaining. I honestly don’t mean it to be.
I recently heard a sermon about singleness in the modern church. The speaker noted that singles in the church are, in essence, foreigners in Christian culture.
Tonight a dinner conversation involved someone classifying me as a “Single Adult”, and it made me feel like an outsider.
I lashed back. Excuse me, but I don’t think that I am, or should be, defined by my marital status.
I simply don’t understand what it has to do with who I am.
Should I not be defined first and foremost by my God?
Christian culture would seem to say single people are only half people.
I’m a whole person, trust me.
Granted, this post is probably a bit reactionary and is definitely not complete.
Bear with me. Rawr.
Amazon Wireless
My friends and I had fun making this video for an amazon contest. Take a moment to vote for ust if you like it. Vote here.
I changed my desktop and love it…
The first picture is Commonwealth Ave. (the street I lived on for 4 years)
The second picture is Bay State Road (my favorite street on campus)

The date and time update as appropriate. What fun.
More on Masters
I feel the need to clarify.
I’d be doing school online so I can still be here.
Still waiting on transcripts to go through.
Master
Today I applied for college. I want to get a Master in Early Childhood Education.
I filled out a FASFA and looked for scholarships.
I really want to do this. But I don’t want more loans.
We’ll see how things work out.
